Tyler's finally getting in a molar. The little guy has been drooling all over
the place and was not a happy guy yesterday. Candace took a look and sure enough
we've got a tooth coming thru on the top right. Poor little thing...

Well, Tyler is officially 1 year old. He had an awesome Birthday.
On his Birthday, Tim took off work. We went to Rainforest Cafe
with his Nani and Poppy, Auntie Alexis, Uncle Jordan and Aunt Megan.
And of course Mommy and Daddy. This was after his visit to the Dr. for a couple
shots. Then we went home for a little nap and woke up and went to Toy's R Us
where Tyler got his first bike and then we went to Chuck E Cheese for dinner.
It was an awesome day, chock full of memories.
Then we had a huge party on 6/10 and had all his little friends over and all our friends
and family. It was a great time!

We've added some pictures to Month 12 including the awesome picture of
Candace and Tyler shown below.

We've added Month 12 to the Baby Pictures section. We've also
added video to the video section. Tyler is walking all over the place.
It's like one day he woke up and it just clicked on how to do it. He no
longer crawls anywhere, he has realized that it is much faster to walk everywhere.
This is Ty's new "Pirate" face. When he is trying to figure something out or when
he meets new people, he makes this face like what the heck are you doing? It's
hilarious, although we have to explain to complete strangers that he isn't look at them
like this because they are goofy looking or something....

Tyler is saying Doggie (deedee) and kitty cat (teety)
and dada and mama and is waving bye bye when daddy leaves for work.
Tyler is getting christened this Sunday. We'll post picts next week.

Happy St. Patrick's Day! Tyler now has 7 teeth, he waves hello when
we walk in the room and he is starting to pull away from the couch and his toys
to stand on his own. When Candace sings her little song with him "5 Little Ducks",
he mouths the words and tries to sing along. It's so cute.
Also, we've created Month 10 and have new pictures under there since
Tyler has just passed the 9 month old mark...

Ty has a total of 6 teeth now. Poor little thing, he has gotta be in pain, but
for the most part he is a trooper and getting through this fine. Now that
he is crawling super fast and pulling himself up on everything, he is learning
the word "no" and he isn't liking it. We'll say "NO" and he'll turn around
and look at us and pucker his lip and start crying. It's funny because it isn't
really a real cry, I mean it brings tears, but you can tell it's not a cry where he
is in pain or hurt or anything. Then he'll go to do it again and he'll look over at us
and smile first. Cute. I'm gonna redo the site I think. Maybe get some different
colors on here. Stay tuned...

Tyler is pulling himself up to stand up. He is using the couch, our ottoman and
his leap pad learning table. This morning he was standing up in his crib waiting for us.
He is also walking around the ottoman by himself and turned to face Candace
and walked a couple steps by himself to get to her.
Guess it won't be long before
he is walking.

Today Tyler said mama for the first time. He also said yay when he
clapped his hands. He is crawling around like a madman and has
gotten REAL fast! He is very close to picking himself up to standing
and when we stand him next to his leap pad learning center he stands
there for a real long time playing and having a good time.
We've updated the Baby Pictures link of Ty in the snow and with
some of his little friends as well as video of Ty saying Mama.

We've updated the Baby Pictures link on the left.
Things are going great and we are getting about 4 hours
sleep each night. They say Tyler is supposed to start
sleeping longer any day now. I'll believe it when I see it!
Of course when that happens we are going to be all paranoid
like "is the baby ok? He slept through the night!" and we
won't know what to do with ourselves if we actually got rest!
But honestly we wouldn't give this up for anything. All the sleep
in the world cannot compare to having this little guy in our lives. :)

Things are going awesome! Tyler is such a blessing
and we are the luckiest parents alive!!! Baby pictures

Candace and Tyler are doing great!
They come home Saturday morning around 11am.

we come home and settle in with our new bundle of joy!

Drumroll Please....
Happy Birthday To Our Little Prince!
Tyler Christopher Minnicks
The baby was born on 6/8/05 at 7:02pm. He weighs 7 pounds
15 ounces and is 21 inches long. Candace and Tyler are doing great and will
be in the hospital til at least Saturday, maybe Sunday.
We'll blog the entire story when we get home and get settled.
Isn't he adorable!!!

Well it looks like this roller coaster we call pregnancy is almost
coming to an end. Candace had a doctor's appointment tonight and he
said that if nothing happens before next week that he is going to induce her
next Friday the 10th, which will roll into Saturday the 11th possibly.
Sooooo....it looks like we will be parents of a bouncing baby boy next weekend!

Well the baby's room is almost finished. I've posted pictures. You
can view them by clicking "Baby's Room" in the links to the left.
I'm working on posting a video of the 3D ultrasound tonight as well.
Things are going good. Can's blood pressure has been down
at her checkups, so that is good. The Dr. still said that he is going to
take the baby early though and she is still on bedrest. We think he might be
shooting for week 38, but we'll see. Depends on how things progress.
Can still has to go twice a week for Non Stress Tests for the baby and once a week
for herself. The Non Stress Test is a thing where they hook her up to monitors and
they have to see the baby's heartrate go up 3 times in 20 minutes. If it
doesn't then she has to stay on the monitor for 20 minutes more. This could
go on for quite a while until they get what they need. but it gives us a sense
of comfort. PLUS we get to see the baby in an ultrasound twice a week!!!
On a side note, my work threw ME a baby shower! I'll put picts of that up
shortly

Well we went for our 3D ultrasound. It was incredible. Our boy has
daddy's little frown and it looks like he might even have a cleft on his
chin, but we'll have to wait and see about that one. He was so cute
floating around and waving and sticking his tongue out and looking
content as ever. We even saw him blinking, it was an amazing experience!

We've updated the links on the left with our registry information
and have also updated the baby pictures link.
We'll be putting up a clearer version of the baby's heartbeat
in the next couple of days, so keep checking back!

We just had an ultrasound today
It was pretty amazing! We have to go back in though because the baby
wasn't positioned properly for a couple of the pictures.
. But we did get some cool shots of the little one sucking it's thumb
and waving to us. Check out the new ultrasound picture by clicking the
"Baby Pictures" link to the left. They said that the baby looked healthy
and happy and it was just sitting there watching us.
The feeling was incredible. As soon as we saw it we both started to
fill up with tears. This is becoming so real now...
We have our 3D ultrasound scheduled for April 2nd. We should
be able to post a pretty cool shot of the baby's features at that point!

We've rented a baby doppler and we are able to listen to the heartbeat
any time we like. However we've read that it isn't good for the baby
to listen more than once a week, so we are disciplining ourselves.
It's tough though because hearing that little heart beat is SO awesome!
